Michele,
If Sunsite is running ez-mlm, they should have been able to give you (or
the person you designate) administrative power for the mulinux list without
threatening their other users. If they won't, I don't feel you should stay
with them. If Sunsite will grant you these powers (they _are_ asking very
nicely that you (we) stay) it does honor both Mulinux and Aarlsberg
University, which have similar missions to educate and further the
development of culture.
I also agree that ez-mlm is superior to MailMan (I've used both), but I'm
not convinced MailMan will not handle somewhat over 100 people reasonably
well.
AFAIK, neither home filters the list messages for viruses or spam. Then
again, I don't know of any usable list that does (which doesn't mean there
aren't any!). However, anyone that gets ANY mail nowadays should be aware
that spam and viruses will be letting themselves "into your home without
knocking first". If Sourceforge appears spam free for now, does anyone
know how long it will last? It would be useful to hear from anyone who has
had experience subscribing to a SF list.
So there you have it...not a direct answer, but I hope it helps.
