Downloading Backbone

As of this writing (11 Jan 2004), Backbone provides three applications, one framework dedicated to one of the apps, and one command-line tool. They work very nicely, but they are not at this point what we would consider complete enough for a first release of a "desktop environment"...so the first Backbone release has not appeared on our radar screens yet.

For now, you can check out the current code using CVS, using the following incantation:

export CVSROOT=":pserver:[email protected]:/sources/backbone"
cvs login
cvs co System
