Yep. Thats fine.
And for tables etc... there is sc (Spreadsheat Calculator), which is very
good. (Console tool)
For databases a good choice is mSQL (cos that is not so big)

I run xfce :) But there we are all different.
And if anyone likes it very small. have a look at aewm :)
