('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) The original main purpose of PYGMY was to implement a working http server, it was part of a package of internet "programs" which were driven by netcat.
And although still useful in it's own right(as part of the first "stand alone" disk) it was replaced by thttpd.
As far as deleting pygmy.........why bother? I think it's all of at most 2k, and it's use as a shell scripting teaching aid is invaluable.
If you're really interested in exactly what pygmy does, just open it in a text editor and take a peek for yourself.
