Hi Folks,
I have an old 386 where I want to install Linux; this has a 3.5 inch
floppy drive and a 5 inch floppy drive (irrelevant).
Having ftp'd the mu linux to the hard disk on my new machine, I find I
cannot fit it on a
1.44 MB floppy to transfer to the old machine. Should I be using some
utility to spread it over 2 floppies?
Most of the other files are 1.7 or 1.8 Mbytes as well: X11 SRV etc...
Am I being particularly stupid here and missing something obvious?
Yours "quizically",
Pauline.

Look at http://sunsite.dk/mulinux/mu/INSTALL.Dos or
http://sunsite.dk/mulinux/mu/INSTALL.Linux depending upon your operating
system
