No it's not Dave, I guess he has recovered from his accident
and is back at work as he has not posted anything to the
group for a while.
I am using the svga server with mu so if it helps I have
attached the device and screen section from my
XF86Config.in.
Also don't forget the X symlink:

cd /usr/X11R6/bin
rm X
ln -s XF86_SVGA X
