To use a floppy as boot-loader do not works, sorry. You can clone
in EXT2, but you need a dos segment to boot.
You can save putting LILO on the floppy, if you know how to that
In alternative, format a DOS floppy from Win9x and put on it:
mulinuz
loadlin.exe
the "sys a:". Create an autoexec.bat on the floppy which look like
a:\loadlin.exe mulinuz root=/dev/XYZ
and replace XYZ with your EXT2 partition.
