You can also get the latest release of the sources from the CVS repository hosted at Savannah. Just type this command:
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.savannah.nongnu.org:/sources/lingot co lingot

Binary distributions

• A precompiled package for Debian is available at http://debian.cxhome.ath.cx/lingot/. Thanks to Niv Sardi Altivanik.
• It's available a package for Ubuntu at http://lamego.pinto.googlepages.com/lingot_0.6.2-1_i386.deb. Thanks to João Luís Marques Pinto.

System Requirements

• A «modest» computer. Pentium at 200 MHz or similar should be enough.
• A sound card with line-in or microphone input.
• Linux kernel with OSS Audio support.
• GTK+ library, version 2.0 or above.
