Aalib - ASCII art library
Aalib is a low level gfx library that works on any
kind of terminal. AA-lib does not require graphics devices (in fact,
no graphical output is possible). It is particularly useful for those
with older hardware who do not want to worry about overloading their
systems with graphical applications.
